I was deeply shocked to hear about Andrew's death. He was a dear friend. My condolences to you.

With your permission, I would like to inform the University of Edinburgh so they can make an announcement in their official publication. This would let people know who otherwise might not.

I can just ask them to make a simple announcement, or if you would like to forward me a text I can give it to them.

Of course, just tell me if you would rather take care of this matter yourself. I am happy to do it however.
